0xMintyn OÜ (registry code 17359805) and its affiliated nonprofit 0xMintyn MTÜ (registry code 80662206), both registered at Juhkentali tn 8, Kesklinna linnaosa, Tallinn, Harju maakond, 10132, Estonia, jointly referred to as “0xMintyn”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, are committed to protecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you visit https://0xmintyn.com, https://0xmintyn.foundation, our dApp, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the “Platform”).

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Blockchain Data (Public & Pseudonymous)

Solana wallet addresses, transaction hashes, Mintyn token balances, and on-chain activity are publicly visible on the Solana blockchain and are not controlled by us.

1.2 Off-Chain Personal Data (Only When Strictly Necessary)

We collect the minimum personal data required for specific features:

• Email address (optional, for newsletters or account recovery)
• KYC/identity data (name, date of birth, government ID, proof of address) – only for nonprofit MTÜ UBI grants or high-value DAP fundraising verification
• IP address and browser data (automatically via analytics)
• Communication data (support tickets, feedback)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver UBI tokens and verify eligibility (especially for nonprofit grants)
• To operate and improve the Platform
• To comply with legal obligations (AML/CTF, tax reporting for large grants)
• To communicate with you (newsletters, support, security alerts)
• For anonymized analytics and impact reporting

3. Legal Basis (GDPR)

We process personal data based on:

• Your consent (e.g., newsletter subscription)
• Performance of a contract (UBI distribution, service delivery)
• Legal obligation (KYC/AML for certain grants)
• Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, platform improvement)

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only with:

• Trusted service providers (KYC partners, cloud hosting, analytics – all under strict DPA)
• Law enforcement or regulators when legally required
• 0xMintyn MTÜ (nonprofit arm) for grant processing

5. Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary:

• KYC data for nonprofit grants: up to 7 years (Estonian AML requirements)
• Email/newsletter data: until you unsubscribe
• Support logs: up to 12 months

We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption, access controls, regular audits). However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your wallet and private keys.

The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Data may be processed in Estonia and other countries with adequate protection (EU, UK, or via EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
